Description
The new Seek was developed for one reason: to revolutionise the riding experience for kids on the road and give them the same feeling of speed, efficiency and control that adult road cyclists enjoy. To achieve this, we designed, developed and specifically built a new range of bikes that sets itself apart from earlier Giant road bikes for children and young people and sets a new standard in this category.
Light and agile
The Seek has a lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame with slimmer frame tubes, developed specifically for young riders. The frame and carbon fork deliver a dynamic ride quality by absorbing road imperfections and enabling precise steering.
Components optimised for youth
The cockpit is designed so smaller riders can be out on the road with more efficiency and control. The Giant Contact SL Lite handlebar has a special shape with a shorter reach (62mm) and drop (100 mm) compared to normal adult handlebars. The brake levers are also made for smaller hands, with a 35% shorter reach from the drop and a 30% shorter reach from the brake hoods. The outer diameter of the brake hoods is 20% smaller and the flared lever shape makes them more ergonomic for small hands.
Easy to adjust
The Seek is intended for children from 130 to 150 cm and can be adjusted easily as the little riders get bigger and gain more experience on the road. From beginner to junior racer, it’s a road bike that grows with the rider. In addition to the specially developed frame with smaller-diameter tubes, the Seek has a seatpost with a body height marking that makes setting saddle height intuitive and simple.
