Shimano Brake Disc RT-CL800

To prevent heat-induced deformation, Shimano has reinforced the alloy carrier and optimised the arm shape on the RT-CL800 brake disc. The result is not only a smoother but also a quieter braking experience. With the proven Ice Technologies Freeza design, the disc offers top-notch, consistently stable braking performance even on long and steep descents, matching the GRX RX810 series.

The key to outstanding braking performance is rapid heat dissipation, achieved through the so-called sandwich construction (stainless steel - aluminium - stainless steel). This results in a significantly lower surface temperature, which in turn leads to less fading, more consistent brake modulation, and higher braking performance, while also reducing brake noise and extending the lifespan of the brake pads.
