The SLR 0 40 is a high-end wheelset for the road, built for long stages that end in a sprint finish. The SLR 0 40 combines low weight and efficient power transfer with aerodynamics and secure handling, offering maximum flexibility throughout the course.

• The hookless rim increases the lifespan and provides a larger inner rim width without additional weight.
• The optimized carbon layup consists of high-strength carbon fibres placed at key points to ensure stiff and lightweight wheels.
• The 40 mm hookless rim profile offers an additional aerodynamic advantage.
• The Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL) technology ensures a stiffer, more efficient wheel with excellent power transfer. The enlarged DBL hub flange increases the spoke stiffness angle, thereby enhancing overall torsional and lateral stiffness for better power transfer.
• The 2.8 mm wide rim bead increases the stiffness of the rim and provides better grip for the tyre during cornering.
• The 22.4 mm wide inner rim is designed for high-volume tyres and offers a larger contact area with the tyre, resulting in better traction and shock absorption for more confidence and a better ride feel.
• The GIANT hub with precision-engineered internals avoids excessive bearing load, reduces bearing friction, decreases rolling resistance, and minimises power loss.
