• Child-friendly ergonomics: The low frame step-through and the low standover height make getting on and off safely easier for young riders at traffic lights and crossings. This means the feet land back on the ground quickly, which is a helpful factor especially for inexperienced riders.
• Weight-optimised components: Aluminium has long been proven as a frame material for bikes. Light, robust and rust-free - three key advantages that set aluminium apart from steel. All our YOUKE models feature a refined aluminium frame, as well as other weight-optimised components such as the handlebar, cranks and rims.
• Standard- and child-friendly V-brake: In our YOUKE models we use a standard- and child-friendly V-brake on the front wheel. This provides good braking performance and ensures optimal modulation of braking power so the rider can come to a safe stop. Compared to conventional V-brakes, falls are avoided by preventing braking performance that is too strong and abrupt. In addition, our YOUKE models also feature a coaster brake (rear brake)
• Rear rack: All our YOUKE models are equipped with a stable rear rack to securely attach and transport smaller loads. ATTENTION: Even if it seems very tempting to transport another person on the rear rack, this is strictly forbidden.
• Height-adjustable saddle and handlebar: To ensure good ergonomics and the longest possible service life, on our YOUKE children’s bikes the handlebar and seatpost are continuously height-adjustable. This means the bike adapts continuously to the small riders’ growth.
