The Challenge saddle bag is a leather tool bag designed to attach to the rear loops of a saddle for securing saddle bags. It features buckles that allow the bag to be secured to the saddle and are located inside, providing a higher level of security. The strap that secures the bag wraps around the tools carried to prevent them from rattling during transport. Made in Italy from vegetable-tanned leather, the first Challenge was designed and patented in 1896.
