The compact model of the 12-speed DEORE XT HYPERGLIDE+ drivetrain offers more ground clearance (an increase of 23 millimetres) and a lower weight, while maintaining a large gear range of 500%. This makes it the ideal choice for both weight-conscious racers and everyday riders – especially in combination with the 9-45Z cassette. The robust and fast-shifting derailleur with a medium cage also features a new cage design and massive shift rollers that better repel small stones and debris on the trail, thus preventing jamming.
