The new Pro series - Even lighter and more elegant!

Even lighter and even more elegant - this is how the new ShockStop Pro Suspension Stem comes. Redshift has further optimized the already slim and unobtrusive damping system. The result is a stem that is 15% lighter with components made of titanium and black logos. The damping hardness remains individually adjustable and the comfort remains high as usual!

No loss in handling, no loss in design, acceptable extra weight

The damping can be individually varied in hardness. To do this, simply remove the two pre-installed plastic dampers and replace them with two of the five supplied dampers. With the large selection of combinations, everyone can find the perfect damping.
The damping does not restrict riding in the limit area. The bike still steers very directly, and in the standing pedal stroke, you still get full power on the pedals.
It is also important that the stem does not visually differ from "normal" stems. It looks like a stem and thus fits very well with the appearance of a racing bike without being too bulky. There are other models on the market that are large and often do not look very good on a racing bike.
For many, weight is also a factor: here one can say that the bike with the stem does not become noticeably heavier (but noticeably more comfortable).

Two installation angles possible: +6 degrees and -6 degrees

Like other stems, the ShockStop Pro stem can also be installed in both directions. Either +6 degrees rising or -6 degrees falling.
Rule of thumb: For riders with back, neck, and/or hand problems, we recommend the +6 degree position. For someone who likes to ride with a low handlebar and does not have neck problems, the -6 degree position is better suited. In the end, you have to try it for yourself or even better have it professionally determined in a bike fitting (also gladly with us in Hanover).

Use case 1: All road cyclists who have problems with numb & tingling hands

The ShockStop Pro stems can be a solution for numb or tingling hands while road cycling.

Many road cyclists struggle with hand problems. Often, a different seating position or padded gloves help to get the problem under control. However, if you still have problems, the ShockStop Pro stem from Redshift Sports could be the perfect solution. The wrists are relieved and shocks are absorbed. The ride becomes much more comfortable. The travel of up to 2 cm can be individually adjusted in hardness (by combining the plastic dampers differently).
And all this very unobtrusively. The damping is not immediately recognizable from the outside, and the bike retains its original design.

Use case 2: Gravel bikes and GravelPlus bikes

With GravelPlus bikes, many athletes are now out and about in various terrains. They ride their "racing bike" over sticks and stones. With the ShockStop Pro stem, you simply have more reserves and comfort, especially in rough terrain. Where arms would otherwise tire quickly, e.g., on rough stone paths, you now roll comfortably over. Result: More range, less fatigue, no more arm and hand problems.

Adjustment of the damping hardness explained in detail

The damping is adjusted using elastic dampers made of plastic. These come in five different strengths, all five are included in the delivery and can also be purchased as a 5-pack. Two of the dampers are installed. You can now combine two very soft dampers for very soft damping or conversely install two hard dampers for very hard damping. Of course, also soft and hard, etc.
This allows the damping to be varied very individually in hardness. The conversion is very simple.

This stem is available in sizes 80, 90, 100, 110, and 120 mm. Just order the size you currently ride.
Even better is of course a bike fitting, where you will be measured accordingly on your bike. If you have problems with your hands, we always recommend a bike fitting (also gladly with us in Hanover).
