SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION
The frame set, wheels, cockpit, and other components are developed and tested together to function as a system. The brand new OverDrive Aero steerer tube technology is combined with a Contact SL AeroLight stem and a Contact SL handlebar to integrate internal cable routing that combines the top cap, cables, and spacers into a more aerodynamic, user-friendly configuration.

All tube shapes are developed using CFD modelling (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and wind tunnel testing. From the truncated elliptical shape of the frame tubes to the new cockpit design and integration of components, a more streamlined profile is achieved that improves overall aerodynamic performance compared to the previous generation.
