XCO-tested technology for fast, dry gravel

The Mezcal is XCO-tested and suitable for Gravel and cross. It brings grip and speed to hard surfaces for drop-bar riding. The centre tread shines on fast, straight sections and the shoulders grip as you lean through corners. On more challenging sections, the continuous siping causes the tread to deform against larger gravel, root, and asphalt pieces. Instead of slipping or washing out, the contact points of the Mezcal multiply and it locks in to propel you forward.

120 TPI nylon casing
The highest thread count in our Gravel range, meaning it is our smoothest and lightest Gravel casing. The durable nylon threads withstand the rigours of cycling in mixed terrain, and the relatively high thread count reduces rolling resistance while maintaining the gravel feel as the chatter is dampened.

Graphene 1C compound
Rubber enriched with graphene to minimise rolling resistance and prevent punctures. Graphene effectively fills the gaps between rubber molecules, creating a reinforced structure that is lighter, more efficient, and also more durable.

XC trail TLR reinforced 120-TPI casing
The XC race TLR is a reinforced racing casing that combines a durable, smooth 120-TPI nylon construction with added protection at the sidewalls. Responsiveness, dampened chatter, and smooth trail feel with a bit of extra puncture protection – when XC gets dicey, the XC trail TLR kicks in.
