The use of innovative technology, combined with the highest mechanical security, makes the 770A SmartX the safest bike lock in its class, as it is the first ABUS-U-lock to have a Bluetooth receiver. Through this securely encrypted channel, the lock receives its signals from your smartphone – just as secure as the lock itself and more individual than any key, and the operation is unique because the SmartX is paired with the lock via the available ABUS app (iOS or Android) using a keycard, making the locking process virtually hands-free. When the user approaches their bicycle with the smartphone, the lock unlocks. To open, you only need to pull the shackle out of the lock body. When locking, it works exactly the opposite: plug it together and activate the alarm, and your bicycle is reliably secured. For an additional plus in security, ABUS gives the SmartX the proven 100dB loud alarm. The 3D Position Detection detects the smallest movements and triggers a deterrent alarm. With slight touches, the lock only emits a short warning tone. However, if the sensors detect an attempted theft, the alarm tone rises to an ear-piercing 100 decibels.
