Hope Tech 4 E4 Disc Brake - black / blue

The new Tech 4 E4 disc brake is based on over 25 years of experience in the development and manufacture of hydraulic braking systems. The Tech 4 uses a completely new internal seal for reduced friction, and the pivot rotates on roller bearings, allowing the spring rate to be reduced. The lower spring rate, in turn, leads to lighter lever action, reducing rider fatigue while maintaining our legendary feel and modulation. The updated E4 caliper uses hybrid pistons made of stainless steel with a phenolic insert, allowing for smoother movement and less maintenance, while also being able to handle high temperatures without heat transfer during extreme use.

The shape of the lever has been revised to achieve a more ergonomic form, aligned to provide the best mechanical advantage when braking.
