3C Maxx Grip (DH): Superior racing performance through three different rubber compounds in different positions on the tread. The base layer ensures low rolling resistance and stability of the tread knobs. The compound in the center of the tread provides the best grip on any surface, while the extremely damped compound on the shoulder knobs ensures the best possible cornering grip.

Wide Trail Casing: The Wide Trail (WT) construction from Maxxis optimizes the tread layout and tire shape for wider rims. Traditional tires are developed for narrow rims and get too angular a shape on wider rims, thus not achieving optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for a rim width of 35 mm, but also work for all rims with an internal width between 30 - 40 mm. 

Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure and thus have better traction.
