The most ridden and in recent years the most successful downhill tire in the world. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as beveled lugs for low rolling resistance and high smoothness with longitudinally slotted lugs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering behavior. It is the benchmark for fast tracks, from light freeride to hard downhill. The Minion DHF is constantly updated and supplemented with new versions. New now is the EXO+ PROTECTION: which combines two of the best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO.
The SilkShield layer surrounds the entire tire from bead to bead, the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Together, this results in EXO+ with the following advantages:
- 27% better puncture protection on the tread
- 51% more stable sidewall
- 28% more impact protection
- compared to our proven stable EXO casing
Tires with EXO+ Protection are built for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing, and are especially designed for the higher torque and weight of E-MTBs. Initially, there are wide versions of the popular Minion DHF, Minion DHR II, and Rekon with EXO+ casings
