Maxxis Minion DHF Folding Tire WT - 24x2.40 Inch - Dual - EXO TR

The most ridden and in recent years the most successful downhill tire in the world. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as beveled lugs for low rolling resistance and high smoothness with longitudinally grooved lugs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering behavior. The Minion DHF is constantly updated and supplemented with new versions.

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other 'Tubeless Ready' tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting successful on all rims with standard dimensions on the first inflation and with little liquid. Even 'normal' Maxxis MTB tires can be mounted tubeless with sealant like tires from other manufacturers, as the carcass fabrics are very dense. However, only the new Maxxis TR models are officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by Maxxis.

3C MaxxTerra is exactly the right 3C compound for Maxxis's Enduro and Freeride tires. Ease of climbing uphill, as well as the best grip downhill, characterize this compound just as much as a long lifespan. 

The EXO Protection, consisting of extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tires consistently convincingly good. In the Dual Compound mixture, two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tires.
