Description

With its completely new tread design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. With the side knobs of the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering hold. The center knobs have beveled knobs for better acceleration. Sipes on the knobs improve the transition when steering into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape, they dig in during hard braking and help keep the bike under control. The SilkShield layer surrounds the entire tire from bead to bead, the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Together, this results in EXO+ with the following advantages:

Tires with EXO+ Protection are built for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing, and are especially designed for the higher torque and weight of E-MTBs. Initially, there are wide versions of the popular Minion DHF, Minion DHR II, and Rekon with EXO+ casings.

3C Maxx Terra: The freeride version of the 3C tires from Maxxis. Significantly more grip and traction due to softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so you can still ride up the mountain well before the great descent, and long lifespan.
