With its completely new tread design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. With the side knobs of the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering hold. The center knobs have beveled knobs for better acceleration. Notches on the knobs improve the transition when steering into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape, they dig in during hard braking and help keep the bike under control.

3C Maxx Grip (DH): Superior racing performance through three different rubber compounds in different positions on the tread. The base layer ensures low rolling resistance and stability of the tread knobs. The compound in the center of the tread provides the best grip on any surface, while the extremely damped compound on the shoulder knobs ensures the best possible cornering grip.

Double Down tires are constructed like Maxxis downhill tires: two carcass layers reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. However, with two 120 TPI (instead of 60 TPI) carcass layers and aramid bead, they are significantly lighter than downhill tires, significantly more stable and robust than TR + EXO tires, and thus ideal for tough enduro courses.
