Maxxis Rambler Folding Tire Silk Shield 45-622 - DualCompound TR

Maxxis first true gravel bike tire. The Rambler has the volume, profile, and good comfort needed for speed and control. The closely spaced center knobs are beveled and therefore roll very well on hard surfaces, while open side knobs ensure predictable cornering behavior in different ground conditions. 

In the Dual Compound blend, two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tires.

SilkShield offers Silkworm protection all around, from rim to rim, preventing cuts and other defects on the tire sidewalls and under the tread.
