1 Stem, for 2 handlebar diameters. The Black One D-2 stem builds on the success of our flagship, the Black One Enduro stem, and offers the possibility to use both Ø31.8 mm and Ø35 mm diameter handlebars with one stem.

The specially developed reducing sleeve allows the use of Ø31.8 mm handlebars, and when removed, you get a Ø35 mm stem. The reducing sleeve provides a wide, smooth clamping area, which is ideal for the use of carbon handlebars.

The intelligent and gap-free clamping design in the lower area ensures that there are no pinch points and sharp edges, and the clamping forces are evenly distributed. This ensures safety and optimal technical conditions. Most stresses and notch effects are always at the bottom of the handlebar. And our smooth, gap-free clamping surface extends the lifespan of your handlebar.

The Black One D-2 is ideal for riders who want to optionally use both Ø31.8 mm & 35 mm handlebars or perhaps want to switch to a new handlebar in the future without having to buy another stem.

Increasingly higher loads must be absorbed by the components, as the frequency of rides with an e-bike is significantly higher than without a motor. Evening rides that were once completed in the pre-e-bike era are now done three times with motor assistance. Therefore, the cockpits of modern e-bikes must withstand more than those on conventional bikes.

With our E-Series stems, we have responded precisely to this development! The E-Black One D-2 stem was tested in the EFBE test lab according to the "EFBE EPAC MTB-GR Tri-Test", which is one of the toughest test procedures worldwide, and passed all stresses without any issues! 

Tested in Germany, this stem can be mounted on any e-bike without hesitation and impresses with its design and stability!
