Description
With this pedal, we are addressing a topic that has become increasingly important to us - the ergonomics of children's bicycles!
In our opinion, this topic receives far too little attention from the bicycle industry! Whether it's the Q-factor of children's bikes, meaning the distance between the feet, or the platform of the pedals, which is far too large for children's feet!
These two factors were the focus during the development of the Youngstar pedal! The shortened pedal axle allows for a significantly reduced Q-factor, minimizing the X-position of the legs. This makes pedaling much easier for the little ones and leads to a significantly "rounder" pedal stroke!
Due to the ergonomic ratio of the contact surface to children's shoes, the "flipping" of the pedals is eliminated. Imagine having to stand on a pedal the size of an A4 sheet of paper. An inevitable tipping forward or backward would be the result, as you could never stand securely and centrally on such a pedal!
As is customary with Reverse, these products are, of course, tested! In this case, by the children of our own employees and within the family environment. With a weight of only 229 g, this pair of pedals made of aluminum with a CrMo axle is a real asset for every child!
