SON Hub dynamo SON 28 - Silver anodized

The SON 28 is a hub dynamo universally approved for all wheel sizes (16'' to 29''). It reaches its nominal power in a 28'' wheel at about 16 km/h (SONdelux 19 km/h). It is recommended when a lot of light is needed at slow speeds or when other devices need to be operated or their batteries charged. The new SON 28 resembles the SONdelux in design and appearance. In the standard version (non-disc), the flange distance and bearing distance are increased by 12 mm and 10 mm respectively compared to the SONdelux. Disc versions are available with 6-hole and center lock brake disc mounts. Compared to the SON 28 classic (model year 2000 to 2011), idle losses could be reduced by about 15% and the weight by 140 g.

Manufacturer's warranty:

We provide a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase in specialist retail on the function of our hub dynamos, headlights, taillights, and wheels.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper use, or force (such as an accident).
In the event of a warranty claim, we will repair the product at our discretion or replace it with an equivalent product.
We will also re-spoke a defective hub dynamo at our expense in the event of a warranty claim.
Further claims are excluded.
