Description
Description
Trickstuff brake discs have more material on the friction ring than is currently fashionable. This is because the heat that inevitably arises during braking must be largely absorbed by the brake disc and then released back into the ambient air. The additional material ensures worry-free braking even on long descents and during continuous braking, making Trickstuff discs the ideal complement to all current super-light brake calipers.
Trickstuff guarantees an extremely precise thickness of the discs of plus/minus one hundredth of a millimeter.
A particularly high-quality stainless steel is used as the material, which is vacuum-hardened and has a hardness adapted to the area of application. This steel is used, for example, for the manufacture of aircraft turbine blades and is about 25% more tensile than the steel usually used for brake discs.
All of this unfortunately makes these discs more expensive than the well-known mass-produced discs. But the investment is worth it: The discs warp significantly less under the influence of heat, are mechanically extremely stable, and have a long service life.
- Why 223 mm? The additional 20 mm increase the lever and increase the braking force by another 20%. Additionally, the disc is even more resistant to overheating due to the increased area
- Made from the best Japanese stainless steel: resulting in up to 25% higher tensile strength than conventional brake discs
- Sophisticated hole pattern: pad cleaning across the entire friction ring width and best performance even under extreme stress
- Suitable for all common disc brakes
- Brake disc thickness: 2.05 mm
- Friction ring width: 15 mm
- Size: 223 mm
- Weight: 214 g
