Wexl Trails – Bikepark Fun (almost) without a lift
At the word “Corona,” many first flinch, but when it comes to the Wexl Trails in St. Corona, there's an all-clear – here, leisure fun for bikers is on the agenda! The Wexl Trails prove that Austria's best bike parks don't always have to be grouped around spectacular high mountain scenery and many cable cars! All bikers get their money's worth on the Wexl Trails, who don't just want to scrub downhill, because there is only one lift, so sweating while pumping uphill is guaranteed! Furthermore, a day in the bike park is particularly affordable here, because where there is no cable car, you don't have to pay for one! Nevertheless, the park offers a lot of variety for experienced mountain bikers, beginners, and the younger generation. E-bikers are also welcome here. There is something special for minis from 3 years old: In the mini bike park, the magic carpet takes you up the mountain, and downhill you go on several tracks with different requirements, which can even be mastered with a balance bike. Besides that, you'll find the usual suspects here, such as a downhill line, a “mountain bike path” (German for Downhill Track?), single trails, a jump line, and so on... Additionally, there are panorama routes with magnificent views and alpine pastures along the way and bike tours.
All information about the Wexl Trails:
- Opening hours: In the main season (from May to October) open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; in the pre- and post-season open Friday to Sunday and on public holidays; until November 20, parts of the park can still be ridden depending on the weather. Here, too, there is an overview of the trail status.
- Ticket prices: A day ticket for the trails costs 9 euros for adults, 7 euros for teenagers, and 6 euros for children. There are also group rates and season tickets. With the bike lift, the day ticket including trail entry costs 32 euros, for children 25 euros, and there are also cheaper half-day tickets, early-bird tickets, and after-work tickets.
- Gravity Card participation: no
- Number of tracks: currently, there are 3 tours, 15 panorama routes, and 12 lines and trails
- Track overview: another selection: Flowtrail (easy), mountain bike path (easy), Jump Line (medium), Uphill Flowtrail (easy), Downhill Line (difficult), Hochwexltrail “The Wu” (easy)
- Difficulty level of the tracks: from toddler to difficult

- Riding technique courses: no, but plenty of practice terrain

- Address: Unternberg 197, 2880 St. Corona am Wechsel, Austria
- Arrival: In Aspang is the nearest train station, the homepage of the bike park then helps you plan your bike park visit without a car. On weekends, buses have a bike trailer so they can transport bikers plus bikes from the train station to the bike park. There is also a great individual transport service: you and your MTB will be picked up by bus from the train station (please book two days in advance). By car, you drive from Vienna and Graz via the southern motorway, from Germany via Munich and the A8 or A9.
