The Crankbrothers Mallet Lace Clip-in Shoe performs well on the racetrack and in the bike park. Our innovative Match System optimizes clipping in for every MTB clip-in system, whether Crankbrothers or SPD. Our medium-friction rubber compound (MC1) allows for easy entry and exit from the pedal and is hard enough to resist wear. The radial lug pattern around the cleat box ensures smooth release from the pedal body. The tread is designed for traction off the bike. Directionally angled and spaced toe and heel lugs provide traction for hikes in steep terrain. The beveled toe area ensures walkability in steep terrain.
