THIN CARRIER PLATE DESIGN
The carrier plate, only 1.6 mm thick, made of a steel alloy, saves weight compared to traditional designs – yet retains the advantageous thermal properties as well as the strength and stability of steel.

The thinner carrier plate is equipped with additional pad mixture, thus extending the lifespan of the disc pad.

CAUTION: The brake pads must be bedded in to achieve optimal braking power and durability

Step 1: On a descent of medium steepness, let the front and rear brakes alternate for 20-30 seconds.
Repeat this process 2-3 times.
Step 2: On a steeper descent, let both brakes alternate for 10-15 seconds each and finish the braking with an almost complete stop.
Again, repeat this process 2-3 times.
Pro-Tip: Break in the brake pads for the rear brake on the front wheel. Just as described above. Then mount the pads on the rear. On flat terrain, let them briefly grind 2-3 times. Caution: Before swapping the pads, make sure to let them cool sufficiently: Risk of burns!
