The Ergon GDH Team shows how effective ergonomics can be in a downhill grip. Shape, texture, grip rubber – every detail on the GDH Team was developed to give you more control and speed. Our Ergon design team, in close cooperation with two-time downhill world champion Vali Höll, as well as Troy Brosnan and Fabien Barel, has created the best downhill grip you have ever ridden. All functional zones are 100% tailored to the demands of tough MTB use and offer maximum possible relief. From the first touch, you notice the locked-in feeling that makes you one with your bike. The grip with its extra soft GravityControl rubber compound is Made in Germany and SGS-tested for harmful substances.

Less Fatigue, Less Arm Pump

The ergonomic shape of the GDH Team was designed in the closest coordination with the fastest gravity athletes to reduce fatigue and loss of control even under heavy loads. Arm pump, pain, and loss of strength in hands and forearms due to increased pressure in muscle tissue and fascia can also be reduced.

Multidirectional Damping

On the top side of the grip, multi-stage, multidirectional texture blocks provide optimal damping with maximum control. The interlocking structure of the texture prevents it from collapsing under pressure, allowing for progressive damping that is pleasantly soft at first and does not give way too much under heavier loads. The asymmetrical design also provides additional damping with more rubber on the top side of the grip.

Finger Boxes for Maximum Grip

The perfectly pronounced finger grip zone on the underside of the grip ensures optimal grip feel and control, even during the fastest maneuvers. With four individual finger boxes, angled to match the race-typical hand-arm position, you have every situation firmly under control.

Inner and Outer Stop – Lock Yourself In

The ergonomically integrated outer stop at the end of the GDH Team grip creates a slight counterpressure and ensures a fixed locked-in hand feeling. It provides perfect orientation of the hand's outer zone in constantly changing conditions in extreme gravity use. The inner stop is an intuitive orientation aid for the inner side of the hand and is designed for precise operation of the shift and brake levers. This way, you can quickly and correctly grasp your cockpit at any time, even after taking your hand off the handlebar.

More Contact and More Grip with Extra-Soft Rubber Compound

The GravityControl rubber compound of the GDH Team grip is the softest variant used at Ergon – for the best vibration damping and best contact with the grip.
