The JAM² SL 8.8 is the perfect lightweight E-MTB for anyone looking for the best value for money. The full carbon frame optimizes weight without compromising stiffness and user-friendliness. The top tube has been optimized in the most radical and minimalist way possible. Thanks to the partial integration of the shock absorber, the JAM² SL 8.8 has a low standover height, giving you plenty of freedom of movement. Despite the integration, all adjustment elements of the shock absorber are easily accessible. Because the motor and battery of our JAM² SL 8.8 are fully integrated into the down tube, this E-MTB not only rides like a pure bike but also looks like one.

FULL SUPPORT OF AN E-BIKE

The FAZUA Ride 60 drive system provides a natural riding experience while still offering full support. The compact and lightweight yet powerful drive unit delivers 60 Nm of torque and a maximum power output of 450 W. Thanks to the boost function, you can tackle even the steepest climbs. Due to the high efficiency of the FAZUA system and a 430 Wh battery, your ride won't end before you've reached your personal rider's high. If you need even more energy, a range extender provides an additional 210 Wh. The drive system already features three different riding modes. Additionally, you can customize motor support to your riding preferences via the FAZUA app. This allows you to adjust the maximum power (Max Power), support ratio (Support Relation), responsiveness, and acceleration (Ramp-up) according to your personal needs.

ADJUSTABLE GEOMETRY AND TUNED KINEMATICS

The geometry of the JAM² SL 8.8 can be adjusted at two points: head angle and chainstay length. The steeper head angle of 65.5° results in more agile handling, while the slacker position of 64.5° provides a more downhill-oriented setup. Adjusting the chainstays from 440 to 447 mm via the FLIP CHIPs changes your bike’s entire setup. If you set the FLIP CHIPs to the longer position, the JAM² SL 8.8 becomes more stable and makes steep climbs easier, while the shorter setting results in a more agile geometry. For the JAM² SL 8.8, we have adapted our F.O.L.D. (FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design) and reduced the number of linkage parts, significantly saving weight. The new kinematics further reduce braking influences and provide maximum control over your bike in every situation.
