E-Bike Cranks rethought! E-Mountain bikers know the problem: They want to lubricate the chain on their E-Bike, turn the crank backwards out of habit, but what happens? The motor's freewheel spins and the chain does not move.
We no longer wanted to lift our heavy e-bikes onto work stands or resort to other makeshift solutions that are not at hand when needed.
With our patented Newmen Forge E-Bike crank, a return pin engages in the chainring lock ring and locks the motor's freewheel. This allows the chain to be rotated backwards for maintenance and lubrication. With the Forge E-Bike crank featuring a Pin it system, you can lubricate your chain as usual without a work stand. When pressure is removed from the crank, the pin automatically retracts. The 430-gram lightweight aluminium crank is compatible with Bosch Gen4/5 motors, the Brose Drive3, and the new Bosch Performance SX motors.
