Turn-by-turn Directions
Easily find your way. Turn-by-turn directions and alerts warn you of upcoming turns.

Route Recalculation
Pause route guidance and recalculation when deviating from the route to explore off the beaten path. When you want to follow the route again, the Edge Explore 2 shows you the way.

ClimbPro, Manage Ascents Properly
Automatically see the remaining ascent and gradient when you are climbing and following a route or track. This allows you to assess the effort required and how long it will take to reach the top. You can even save the climbs to view them after the tour on the device or in the Garmin Connect app.

E-Bike Compatibility
If you have an e-bike compatible with Shimano Steps or ANT+® technology, you can see a special e-bike status page with data fields such as battery life and more. Even smart routing and range alerts based on battery status, motor support, and planned route are available.

Varia Compatibility
Pair the Edge Explore 2 Power with your Varia Radar for more safety while cycling. This allows you to detect vehicles from a distance of up to 140 meters and make yourself noticeable with the bright rear light.

Incident Detection
This Edge device automatically sends a message with your location to pre-installed emergency contacts when an accident is detected.

Grouptrack Function
After pairing with the smartphone, you can keep an eye on your fellow cyclists. GroupTrack is available for riders using compatible Garmin devices. This allows you to track up to 50 people simultaneously.

Send Group Messages
Pair the device with the smartphone and stay connected with your cycling crew in case you get separated from the group. Group messages are available for riders with compatible Garmin devices.
