The 17-liter protection volume offers protection for the neck, spine, chest, pelvis, coccyx, head, collarbone, and internal organs. Activation occurs via a ripcord that is firmly connected to the vehicle and is plugged into the vest when getting on and off. An unintentional activation by forgetting to release the ripcord when dismounting from the vehicle is very unlikely, as a force of 300Nm (30Kg) is required to activate the airbag.
