The electronic airbag vest uses multi-sensor detection, allowing a complete analysis of the situation and a full 360° protection. The algorithm uses a series of sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, and GPS) that analyze the movement of the motorcyclist and allow real-time tracking of the rider. The fast detection time of 60ms fully inflates the airbag before ground impact.
The optional Full Protection solution includes a second sensor (SDU) that can be attached to the motorcycle's fork. This option allows the detection time of 60 ms (only by sensors in the vest) to be reduced to 31 ms even when stationary, at low speed, and regardless of the impact angle in road traffic. On the racetrack, the fork sensor should not be used.

The electronic system is installed in the Helite e-GP-AIR. This includes the high-quality SAS-TEC back and chest protector, which is mounted like a turtle shell over the airbag. Point loads in the back area are effectively distributed and absorbed over the entire airbag. On the back, there are Velcro areas equipped with removable leather sliders. These leather parts can be individually replaced in the event of a fall. Additionally, individual parts can be provided with sponsor logos or patches.
Upon activation, the system reaches the optimal pressure after 80-100 milliseconds (depending on size) to fully develop its protective effect. The 17-24 liters (depending on size) of protective volume offer protection for the neck, spine, chest, pelvis, coccyx, head, collarbone, and internal organs. By simply replacing the e-cartridge, the vest is immediately ready for use again.
