Helite Airbag Vest E-Turtle - Black Size L

The electronic airbag vest uses multi-sensor detection, allowing a complete analysis of the situation and a full 360° protection. For complete and optimal full protection, it is strongly recommended to attach a second sensor (SDU) to the motorcycle fork. This option allows the detection time to be reduced from 60 ms (only by sensors in the vest) to 31 ms even when stationary, at low speed, and regardless of the impact angle.

The new e-Turtle is based on the Turtle 2.0 airbag vest. Only the mechanical release unit has been replaced by an electronic one! The e-Turtle, like the Turtle 2.0, contains the high-quality SAS-TEC back protector, which is mounted over the airbag like a turtle shell. Point loads in the back area are effectively distributed and absorbed over the entire airbag. The protection is therefore many times higher than that of a standard airbag. The Turtle airbag systems show their technological advantage especially in impacts against pointed and sharp-edged objects, such as a guardrail, a branch, or a motorcycle part.
Upon activation, the system reaches optimal pressure after 80-100 milliseconds (depending on size) to fully deploy its protective effect. The 17-28 liters (depending on size) of protective volume provide protection for the neck, spine, chest, pelvis, coccyx, head, collarbone, and internal organs. By simply replacing the e-cartridge, the vest is immediately ready for use again.
