The Zipp 454 NSW Tubeless for disc brakes is the ultimate wheelset for road racing. This wheel delivers everything a performance-oriented cyclist demands. Furthermore, it features a wider rim designed for tubeless tires at lower pressure, reducing rolling resistance and vibration losses, ensuring you lose as little energy as possible during your ride. We recommend a 28 mm tire on this wheel to achieve the best combination of aerodynamics and rolling resistance. The wave-shaped 58 mm Sawtooth rim profile with Hyperfoils is our most aerodynamic and stable wheel. The 454 NSW incorporates Zipp's Total System Efficiency (TSE), our approach to combating the biggest speed enemies: aerodynamic drag, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses.

The use of hookless (straight) rims by Zipp in the 454 NSW is a crucial part of "Making You Faster". Hookless provides a smoother and more aerodynamic transition between tire and rim. The hookless rims from Zipp have a more efficient resin distribution, resulting in lighter and stronger wheels. The 454 NSW is equipped with the race-ready ZR1 SL hubset with ceramic bearings and 66 engagement points. Additionally, this hubset is 30 g lighter than the previous hub used in the NSW wheels.
