The Zipp 454 NSW Tubeless Disc Brake is the ultimate wheelset for road racing. This wheel delivers everything performance-oriented cyclists demand. It is aerodynamically efficient and stable in all wind conditions. Furthermore, a wider rim has been developed for tubeless tires at lower pressure to reduce rolling resistance and vibration losses, ensuring you lose as little energy as possible on the road. We recommend a 28 mm tire on this wheel to achieve the best combination of aerodynamics and rolling resistance. The wavy 58mm Sawtooth rim profile with Hyperfoils is our most aerodynamic and stable wheel. The 454 NSW features Zipp's Total System Efficiency (TSE), our approach to combatting the biggest speed barriers: air resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses.

The use of hookless (straight) rims by Zipp in the 454 NSW is a fundamental part of "Making You Faster". With hookless, the transition between tire and rim becomes more seamless and aerodynamic. The hookless rims from Zipp have a more efficient resin distribution, resulting in lighter and stronger wheels. The 454 NSW is equipped with the race-ready ZR1 SL hub set with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement. Additionally, this hub set is 30 g lighter than the previous hub in the NSW wheelsets.
