HJC focused on developing a helmet with large, open ventilation openings that ensure good heat management at normal speeds. Based on feedback from riders regarding sweat management in modern helmets, we added channels at the front edge of the helmet that support evaporation from the forehead pad. The forehead pad itself can be replaced with the included removable Soft Peak, which provides additional sun protection and sweat management. Since safety is always a priority, we integrated next-generation SLID™ padding (Sliding Layer Impact Distribution) into the upper part of the helmet. This reduces the risk of concussion from blunt and rotational impacts. Additionally, it cushions the helmet against the scalp on uneven terrain. In practice, gloves are sometimes a must, whether due to colder weather or for protection on rough terrain. The Fidlock magnetic closure allows for quick and secure adjustment, even with fully gloved hands.
