The Protection Shorts Amp protects during light falls (EN 1621-1: 2012 / L1) in the hip area and fits under any mountain bike pants due to its flat profile. The Pro SAS-TEC pads protect the sides of the hip bones and follow the leg movement while pedaling & riding thanks to strategically placed cuts. The ventilation holes in the SAS-TEC pad and the breathable mesh inserts provide this combination of breathability and performance. Additionally, foam pads on the coccyx and thighs absorb lighter impacts.
