Wearing a light on the helmet high up on the head has several advantages. Firstly, it allows you to be seen better by drivers on the road. It is less likely that you will be overlooked by parked cars or other things on the road. Secondly, drivers can see much better where you are looking through the lighting of your helmet, allowing them to approach you more safely.

Chips On Board (COB) is a method of LED construction that has a number of advantages over more conventional technologies. It allows for a more compact footprint while delivering higher light intensity, meaning you can be seen from a greater distance. Additionally, it results in a more even light beam. We like to refer to it as our best LED technology to date. Lumos Ultra will also be available as a MIPS version. This is an additional safety feature built into the helmet to provide extra protection against rotational movements upon impact.

It is our most ventilated helmet to date. We listened to our customers' feedback and paid close attention to how Ultra channels air through its internal ventilation system. We created three huge exhausts at the rear of the helmet to ensure that hot air is pushed out, keeping the rider cool whether commuting or riding sportily.
