The Magura HS33 R comes in a new design and is lighter, stiffer, and more powerful than its predecessors. The ideal rim brake for city and terrain. The Magura HS33R is the first fully hydraulic rim brake with a radial piston lever. Magura has given the HS33 R even more braking power and better ergonomics.

The brake has also been reduced in weight and made even more low-maintenance. The Magura HS33 R is the only serious alternative to converting to a disc brake. The brake is ideal for everyday or touring bikes and is especially interesting for e-bike and pedelec retrofitting. The hydraulic rim brake offers significantly higher braking performance than a conventional cable-operated rim brake. The brake levers can be mounted on both the right and left (Flip Flop design). The brake levers of the Magura HS33R are also compatible with all common Shimano, Sram, and Rohloff shifters, as well as with twist grip shifters.
