The new Mavic E-Speedcity marks Mavic's comeback into the world of commuter bicycles, after having designed mudguards in the early days of the company.
We have incorporated 130 years of experience at the highest level of cycling to develop the right bike for your daily commute.

The wheels are built robustly and durably.
The 32 solid J-bend spokes combined with high-flange hubs allow a maximum load capacity of 180 kg (25% more than the usual Mavic road bike wheels),
to accommodate the additional weight and stresses of daily commuting.
Our freewheel mechanism, proven on E-MTBs and featuring automatic bearing preload, copes perfectly with the most powerful e-bike motors (up to 120 Nm motor torque). Its smooth running saves energy for both the motor and the rider.

Our years of experience in wheel building guarantee a stable construction over long distances, ensuring you don't waste time in the workshop.

Because we all care about the environment and want to reduce our carbon footprint, the aluminum alloy used to produce these rims consists of 90% recycled aluminum. Additionally, these wheels are handcrafted in Europe, with components sourced 100% from Europe.

This 700c version is 25 mm wide and can be used with tires up to 64 mm.

Last but not least, we care about your safety and that of your bicycles. These wheels are discreet to avoid attracting unwanted attention, but their black reflective stickers glow at night, ensuring you remain visible in traffic.

They are approved for our Mavic Care program, which includes a free third year of warranty, a crash replacement policy, and availability of spare parts for over 5 years.
