Maxxis Rekon folding tire - 29 x 2.25 inches - EXO TR - 3C Maxx Speed

The Rekon is a fast-rolling XC trail tire inspired by the Ikon, our most popular XC tire. Medium-heavy and technical terrain is its home. Wide center knobs provide good control when braking and accelerating. L-shaped side knobs offer secure grip in corners, even on loose surfaces. The Rekon has all the features to become as popular as the Ikon.

3C Maxx Speed: The fastest 3C compound for XC and some AllMountain / Enduro tires is designed for the lowest rolling resistance with its hard base and fast compound in the center of the tread, but also offers superior grip in corners with the grippy compound on the sides, even in wet conditions. Typical of MAXXIS is also the very long lifespan.

The EXO Protection, made of extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains consistently good.
