• Fit: The 360° fit system developed by Oakley® offers a height-adjustable strap for a comfortable, customized fit. With a rubberized micro-adjustment wheel, the fit can be fixed, and an extra-wide strap provides additional stability to the system. The fit system is seamlessly integrated into the MIPS® protection system, which is built on our skull matrix technology.
• Wearing Comfort: The DRT3 Trail is equipped with the innovative forehead pad with sweat catcher and the classic textile padding on the top of the helmet. The silicone gel sweat catcher captures sweat and diverts it from the forehead, keeping YOUR glasses streak-free. The textile padding provides additional contact points for more wearing comfort.
• Lining: The antimicrobial Ionic+™ lining is activated by sweat and ensures a fresh wearing feeling and good odor control.
• Glasses Storage: The front ventilation openings offer the rider a secure way to store their glasses. The Unobtainium® glasses arms hold the glasses in place, and recesses in the foam on the inside of the helmet prevent the arms from injuring the rider's head in the event of an impact. This creates a simple and intuitive storage space for the rider's glasses.
• Protection: The Mips® protection system provides additional safety in the event of possible accidents and helps reduce the dangerous forces that could otherwise act on the rider's head.
• Ventilation: Sixteen ventilation openings prevent warm air (while riding or stationary) from escaping the helmet, and two large ventilation openings at the front grille direct fresh air to the rider's forehead for optimal cooling and to prevent the glasses from fogging up.
• Visor: The adjustable visor can be adjusted at four points, offering the perfect fit with style and function, allowing the rider to easily decide whether to wear or store the glasses.
• Design: The DRT3 Trail features a trademark with Iridium® coating that reflects the Prizm™ lens colors of the Oakley glasses. Each color of the trademark matches the color of the helmet and highlights the eyewear tradition of Oakley.
