Old Man Mountain was founded in 1996 with the goal of mounting luggage racks on bicycles without conventional attachment points. The Fit Kits also have some important advantages over mounting with attachment eyelets:

• Not all attachment eyelets are suitable for luggage rack mounting, most are only intended as fender mounts and/or have correspondingly low load capacity
• An axle mount protects your frame
• Do you want to transport more equipment? The axle mount increases the load capacity of the Old Man Mountain luggage rack to a full 33 kg ht
• Do you want to swap your luggage rack between multiple bicycles? The Fit Kits allow for easy mounting/dismounting between different bikes or from front to rear wheel with just a few screws
• Installation dimension: M12 x 1.5
