For Onza as a brand, which has so far focused on mountain biking, they are entering new terrain with the introduction of their first gravel tire. Since they have also been riding gravel bikes for years, it was a logical step to enter this segment and bring some mountain bike tire know-how into the world of curly bars.

LET IT ROLL
Grava, which means "fine gravel" or "bead load" in Rumantsch, one of the four Swiss national languages, was developed to perform best on hard-packed off-road terrain, as often found on river paths or roads in our Central European forests.

MATERIALIZING VISIONS
The design process of a new tire involves a lot of measuring, comparing, and getting inspired until you finally hold the first rideable prototypes in your hands. This successful implementation of visions and ideas for a product is the most rewarding part of the entire process and compensates for the countless hours of tinkering.

GEC - GRAVEL ENDURANCE CASING
Especially on long adventures on remote trails, tire punctures can significantly dampen the fun of riding. Therefore, puncture protection and durability were the focus in the development of the Gravel Endurance Casing GEC. Reinforced sidewalls, an extra puncture protection layer, and durable 60a rubber are intended to ensure that at least one tire puncture does not prematurely end the adventure.
