Description
Description
Orbea could tell you that the Wild has the strongest motor or the most powerful battery on the market, but that seems unnecessary, because this bike takes you to a world beyond performance, where experience is key and the trails are endless. Leave the heavy, insensitive e-bikes behind and unleash your Wild.
Secure Battery System
Removing the battery to charge it? Can be convenient. However, this feature also brings many structural disadvantages for the frame. For example, additional parts are needed for assembly, which not only makes the bike heavier but also more complicated. Additionally, removable batteries require large openings or recesses in the frame. Depending on the solution approach, compromises have to be made in one way or another. For example, through additional material use, reduced stiffness, or a higher center of gravity. Additionally, rattling covers can dampen the joy of riding.
Sealed, Integrated Cables
Thanks to the SIC system, the cables are invisible and routed in the best possible way through the headset, the integrated guides, and Orbea's Cable Pass from the cockpit to the rear of the bike.
Clean Cockpit
With a glance at the tidy cockpit of the WILD, you would hardly think that you are sitting on an e-bike. The remote control is wirelessly connected to the display in the top tube. All other cables run invisibly through the headset. Thanks to the SIC system, they are perfectly protected.
The Traction of a 29er with Optimized Chainstays
The integration of a motor often leads to the unwanted use of longer chainstays. The result is a stiffer, less agile handling. To counteract this effect, many manufacturers rely on 27.5-inch wheels. However, this impairs the traction on the rear wheel, which is so important for powerful e-bikes.
