Park Tool Ventilation kit for mineral oil kit, BKM-1.2

The BKM-1.2 has been equipped with new tools that make the mechanics' lives easier.

The BKM-1.2 bleed kit for hydraulic brakes bleeds most models of mineral oil-based hydraulic disc brakes. 

Including models from Shimano®, Magura®, TRP®, Tektro®, Trick Stuff®, SRAM® DB8, Campagnolo®, Promax®, and Clarks®.

Bleeding hydraulic brakes removes air bubbles and contaminants from the brake system to ensure long component life and optimal performance.

The BKM-1.2 is designed for daily use in commercial settings and includes two syringes, hoses with shut-off clamps, bleed blocks in various sizes, a bleed funnel, and a set of our unique mountable syringe holders 

as well as several hose fittings for the various standards used in hydraulic bicycle brake systems. All parts are interchangeable and available at Park Tool. Housed in a sturdy storage case.

Note: 

The BKM-1.2 is only suitable for mineral oil-based hydraulic bicycle brake systems. DOT fluid and mineral oil should never be mixed in the brake system or in the respective maintenance tools. Cross-contamination of brake fluid can lead to seal failure and thus brake failure. For brakes with DOT fluid, use the BKD-1.2 hydraulic brake bleed kit from Park Tool – DOT.
