The new Performance 30 wheels are much more than an affordable entry ticket into the world of mountain biking. Even with the budget-friendly aluminium wheels, the modular wheel concept for front and rear wheels is used – just like all Newmen MTB wheel series. True to the motto: Light up front, durable in the back. While the sturdier Strong rear wheel guarantees stability and dent resistance, the Base front wheel saves weight. The wide, hooked Performance 30 rims are made from 6061 aluminium, feature pinned connections, and come with pre-installed tubeless rim tape. With a 30 mm wide rim and a flat profile, the Performance 30 is ideal for modern MTB tyres from 2.3" to 2.6". The tubeless-compatible, impact-resistant profile with angled rim bead ensures optimised comfort and grip, regardless of the terrain. For reliability when accumulating kilometres, we use our proven, quiet FADE MTB hubs with Sapim 2.0 Straightpull spokes. For more stability and lateral stiffness, the spoke count on the rear wheel of the Enduro set increases from 28 to 32.
