The Cinturato Velo is the new tubeless folding tire from Pirelli, designed for protection and comfort without compromising performance.

KEY FEATURES:
The reliability of SmartNET Silica technology combined with the tubeless-ready comfort and durability of the new Armour Tech technology brings out a new generation of folding tires. It boasts a unique DNA with perfect performance for long distances and different terrains.

Armour Tech™ construction (patent pending) combines various components, in order from inside to outside, that complement the 60 TPI nylon casing beneath:

• High-density nylon layer from bead to bead, which protects against cuts and improves stability. At low pressure, they help make the carcass airtight when used with liquid sealant.
• High-density wavy belt made of aramid fibers under the tread, providing protection against piercing and sharp foreign objects.
• Aramid fibers in the tread rubber compound (SmartNET™ Silica) are distributed in two layers:
• An outer (cap) that guarantees performance (dry & wet, mileage, contact feel),
• An inner (base) that slows down the penetration of foreign objects into the underlying layers thanks to a higher number of these fibers

TUBELESS-READY & TUBETYPE
The bead of the Cinturato Velo has been developed for maximum compatibility and airtightness with tubeless rims,
as well as easy installation in tube or tubeless configurations
