Three different tread designs for different conditions, from M (Mixed) to S (Soft & Loose), offering this high-performance tire everything needed for daily use on any trail. The ScorpionTM Enduro range was developed to meet the demands of modern bicycles, which are becoming better and faster, and delivers grip and stability where it counts. The SmartGRIP Gravity compound offers grip in wet and dry conditions as well as high tear resistance, all over the entire product lifecycle, even in a used state.
The medium-height knobs and spacing are designed for optimal grip and rolling behavior on dry or wet terrain. The SCORPION ENDURO M, with its SmartGRIP Gravity compound, is the best choice for trails where the terrain can vary and a high level of grip is essential, all combined with a high level of reliability and a long lifespan, making it a true all-rounder.

TREAD
The tread of the Scorpion™ Enduro M consists of knobs whose height and spacing, along with the physical and mechanical properties of the rubber compound, have been developed to offer uncompromising performance under variable conditions on compact and loose terrain. The additional "bridges" support the knobs and facilitate mud shedding in wet conditions.

COMPOUND - SMARTGRIP GRAVITY
Pirelli developed this compound to meet the demands of modern riding styles, where higher speeds and more capable bicycles require softer damping and controlled feedback.
Based on the properties of lignin, a natural chemical component that occurs during the breakdown of waste paper and is patented by Pirelli, it offers all the advantages of its XC-oriented counterpart, the classic SmartGRIP Compound, but combines them in a softer durometer package.
Lignin is not only a naturally occurring additive but also enhances the mechanical properties of the rubber, leading to higher stability than any other composition with the same robustness.
This improvement does not come at the expense of the other properties of the SmartGRIP compound mixtures, namely chemical adhesion: the rider benefits from consistent tire performance throughout its entire lifespan, even under higher loads, such as those encountered in downhill riding. These properties jointly enabled the technicians at Pirelli to develop a rubber compound that simultaneously increases rolling behavior, grip, and reliability. All of this makes the bike lighter, faster, and easier to control. In fewer words: more fun! 

HARDWALL (HW)
The structure features bead-to-bead protection and a hard rubber insert directly above the bead for additional reliability during aggressive riding. The multiple reinforcements embedded in the carcass, developed for modern bicycles, aim to either improve structural reliability or provide more support at lower pressure.
