The tread of the Scorpion™ Trail R was developed for use on the same terrain as the Scorpion™ Trail M, with an average height and spacing of the treads and a wide range of applications. The specific design of the center treads, derived from Pirelli's experience in the world of motocross, increases grip and stability both when braking and pedaling, giving the Scorpion™ Trail R a unique level of dynamics and reliability and providing excellent smoothness on mixed terrain.

COMPOUND
SmartGRIP Compound is an advanced mixture developed based on experiences from motorsport. The single compound solution offers consistently high grip performance on both wet and dry roads, even when the treads begin to wear.

PROWALL
Our protective sidewall reinforcement technology for improved puncture protection and handling at low pressure. An additional layer of nylon fabric over the sidewalls of the carcass for extra protection and improved cornering stability.
