After three years of development with the fastest World Tour racers, Pirelli designed these new TLR tires with the new SmartEVO compound to provide our pro riders and you with the best Pirelli tires ever made!.

COMPOUND – SMARTEVO
The new SmartEVO compound uses a blend of three different polymers, each contributing its specific property while simultaneously ensuring a perfect balance of what are actually opposing properties: the goal for every rubber technician. To complete this project, Pirelli utilized its extraordinary experience gained over more than 100 years of motorsport and the vast know-how from cycling. Our in-depth knowledge and chemical expertise have enabled the material engineers and chemists at Pirelli to use this ternary polymer blend so advanced that it ensures an “intelligent” behavior, characteristic of the outstanding properties of the SmartEVO compound. Perfect grip whether wet or dry, coupled with low rolling resistance. A performance package suitable for all modern road disciplines and surfaces, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures where climate and road surfaces require tires that work under all conditions.
