The special feature of these wipers lies in the addition of MOS2, graphite, and PTFE to the Lycra material. This results in a very low breakaway torque, which improves the responsiveness of the fork. The one-piece Modi Performance wipers from Racingbros combine dust wipers and oil seals in one component. This allows them to withstand a higher system pressure of up to 20 kg/cm² compared to conventional two-part seals. The oil inside the fork is reliably kept in the system while dirt, mud, or sand are kept away from the internals of the suspension fork. Both in long-term tests of 20,000 compressions under spraying with mud, sand, water, and ice, as well as with numerous test pilots during the development phase, the high quality has been demonstrated.
